Aircel launces 3g in Kolkata

After the successful launch
in Chennai, today Aircel has launched its 3G
services in KOLKATA and
PATNA . With 3G on Aircel,you can enjoy video
calling, streaming music and video, super fast data
transfers and a lot more right on your 3G enabled
mobile phone. To check if
your handset is 3G
compatible or not SMS ‘Check 3G ‘ to 121 from
your aircel number.
And now apart from Aircel
3G plans,company is also offering free 3G usage
of upto 250MB + 50 minutes of free video calls to its customers till 27th
February 2011. To avail this offer SMS ‘ START
3G ’ to 121 and you will be
ready to enjoy free data
usage and calls. After the
trial period, Aircel will charge 3 paise per 10KB for data and Rs. 0.05 per
second for video calls,which is relatively cheaper
compared to Reliance, Tata
DoCOMO and Airtel.
